At Andílek, we found a school where our two daughters (aged 6 and 9) are not only learning, but also growing as individuals. I truly appreciate the approach to education, which is grounded in strong core principles. The children are guided to understand things in depth, rather than simply memorising information. We were never extreme enthusiasts of the Montessori system, but circumstances led to both of our children attending Andílek from around the age of two, and our intuitive decision turned out to be the right one. We have gone through the children’s group, and our younger daughter now attends kindergarten. We greatly appreciate the possibility of continuous education in essentially one building, from early childhood all the way through primary school. The current size of the institution suits us well — everything feels personal here, and we are not just a “number in the system.” Because we have a child with an atypical neurodevelopment, we truly value having speech therapy and special education services directly on site, which saves us a great deal of time and the complications of travelling elsewhere. We are delighted by the kind and respectful approach of the teachers, and it is clear that at Andílek, everyone genuinely cares about the children — from the headmistress to the kitchen staff. The team is also very well trained in developmental psychology and pedagogy, and we know that Andílek invests heavily in the education of its staff, which gives us confidence in the quality of the school. Even though our daily commute is (unfortunately) sometimes close to an hour, it is absolutely worth it for us, and for now, we have no intention of giving up Andílek! 😊
