Physical Activities
Every morning the children start their stay outside in the garden. In this way, we develop gross motor skills and children learn to control their bodies during various activities.
Toddler community 1,5 - 3 years
WE GENTLY GUIDE OUR TODDLERS THROUGH THE BASICS OF SELF-SERVICE, SELF-CARE AND CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT THAT SURROUNDS THEM. WE HELP THEM TO ADAPT TO THE WORLD AROUND THEM.
Learning Independence
We guide toddlers to be able to take care of themselves and of the environment around them, in accordance to their age. We teach them how to adapt to the world around them. There are only twelve children in our community and one English-speaking caregiver and at least one assistant is working with them every day. The toddler community is part of the Montessori Andílek schools, so when the children are ready, they can automatically continue to our kindergarten (3-6 years).

What else will the children experience?
English
There is an English-speaking and Czech-speaking teacher in the classroom throughout the day so children can naturally develop their vocabulary in common everyday situations. The children learn English as naturally as their mother tongue.
Dining
Children independently prepare snacks, thanks to which they develop autonomy, independence, gross and fine motor skills and care for themselves and the environment. They eat together at the same table, we support the culture of dining.
Music
Through rhythmicizing, playing Orff instruments and singing as part of everyday activities, we develop a love for music and language.
Creative Activities
Children will naturally encounter various creative techniques such as gluing, collage, cutting, using brushes and paints within the classroom environment. The children are given the knowledge of how to use each technique and the way of expression is entirely up to their creativity.

CONDITIONS FOR PARENTS

ENROLLMENT
When: 6 May 2024 from 8am to 5pm.
CONDITIONS FOR CHILDREN
- The child shall be able to manage the separation from his/her parents.
- The child shall be reasonably independent for his/her age.
- The child walks, both hands relaxed.
- The child can eat on his/her own.
- Parents are willing to support their child on his/her path to independence.
- Parents visited our TC with the child before enrollment.
- Parents show a long-term interest in their child continuing to our kindergarten (3-6), and in the Montessori pedagogy.
Parents will receive an admission decision via e-mail from the Head of School no later than June 5, 2024.
