Kindergarten 3 - 6 years

WE ASSIST CHILDREN TO EMBARK ON THEIR PATH TOWARDS SELF-ACTUALIZATION, DESIRE TO LEARN AND BELONGING TO SOCIETY.

Diversity inspires me

Children work in mixed age groups, which is an environment they will be in for the rest of their lives. They learn from each other, work with different materials suitable for their age, knowledge and skills. They develop through their senses and practical activities, acquire knowledge and experience naturally by their own participation and understanding. They start doing individual work and gradually get bolder and used to group activities. We guide them to know how to interact with one another, with respect and consideration.

What else will the children experience?

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

Apart from normally being outside in the fresh air in the yard, children have other regular opportunities to develop their gross motor skills, such as collective activities / games, climbing or gardening. Preschoolers venture out once a month for an all-day excursion to explore.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE

There is one English and one Czech speaking teacher all day in the classroom. We want children to learn to use English in everyday life. Children develop their vocabulary and are not shy to use a foreign language. They learn English as naturally as their mother tongue.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Every week the children have an extra hour outside to do PE with our teachers, with the aim of developing their motor skills.

ONE-OFF EVENTS

We care for children’s holistic development and so we prepare and organize various activities – meetings with experts from different fields, theater, community events focused on traditional Czech and international customs, meetings with senior citizens from a nearby assisted living facility or different meetings with parents combined with creative activities.

AFTER SCHOOOL ACTIVITIES

In the building of Andílek we have an Atelier where children can attend clubs in the afternoon. Information about the programme can be found here. Clubs are not included in the tuition fee.

MEALS

The meals are delivered by a company called Česká jídelna which focuses on healthy as well as tasty food. Parents can choose from two meal options and order the meal of their choice via an order form directly with Česká jídelna.
