In our school, you will find authentic Montessori education, teachers who respect the uniqueness of each child, a coherent educational system from 1.5 to 15 years of age, a natural approach to learning, and guidance that helps children develop responsibility for themselves and for the world around them.

Tábory jinak
Tábory jinak are summer camps and day programs where children spend meaningful time in nature, discover who they truly are, and build genuine friendships. In a safe and supportive environment, they are free to be themselves, try new things, face their fears, and return home stronger, more confident, and joyful. The camps are led by an experienced team guided by Soňa Havlíčková, growing alongside children for over nine years.

What children take away
“Children are born with a natural potential to learn. They are curious and creative since birth. For their healthy development they need an inspiring and loving environment that will enable them to discover the world. We offer them just this environment. We open a way for children to their self-actualization. We encourage their desire to learn and we teach them responsibility.”

At Andílek, we found a school where our two daughters (aged 6 and 9) are not only learning, but also growing as individuals. I truly appreciate the approach to education, which is grounded in strong core principles. The children are guided to understand things in depth, rather than simply memorising information. I highly value the respect teachers show toward the children, which naturally reflects in how the children relate to their teachers as well. The school organises many extracurricular activities not only for children, but also for parents, helping us better understand the principles of Montessori education. Andílek is a place our daughters attend with joy and genuine enthusiasm.

We were never extreme enthusiasts of the Montessori system, but circumstances led to both of our children attending Andílek from around the age of two, and our intuitive decision turned out to be the right one. We have gone through the children’s group, and our younger daughter now attends kindergarten. We greatly appreciate the possibility of continuous education in essentially one building, from early childhood all the way through primary school. The current size of the institution suits us well — everything feels personal here, and we are not just a “number in the system.” Because we have a child with an atypical neurodevelopment, we truly value having speech therapy and special education services directly on site, which saves us a great deal of time and the complications of travelling elsewhere. We are delighted by the kind and respectful approach of the teachers, and it is clear that at Andílek, everyone genuinely cares about the children — from the headmistress to the kitchen staff. The team is also very well trained in developmental psychology and pedagogy, and we know that Andílek invests heavily in the education of its staff, which gives us confidence in the quality of the school. Even though our daily commute is (unfortunately) sometimes close to an hour, it is absolutely worth it for us, and for now, we have no intention of giving up Andílek! 😊

At Andílek, there is a very warm and caring environment, and children genuinely look forward to going to school and kindergarten. The relationships between children and educators are excellent, and everyone makes me feel welcome. They truly enjoy their work and carry it out with great dedication.

Education in the Montessori style responds to employers’ calls for responsible, independent, and purposeful team players. This is, in fact, the foundation of everything children at Andílek are guided to develop.

Andílek was a clear choice for me because the people who work with the children are not only inspiring “guides,” but also well-educated educators who truly fulfil the mission of Maria Montessori.

What fascinates us about Andílek is how teachers are able to work with children’s natural curiosity and inner motivation.
