Montessori family

Andílek is part of the Montessori family, together with the Montessori Institute Prague and the Montessori Association of the Czech Republic.

All these three organizations have formed a strong bond, they support, cooperate with and complement each other in the system of education and edification in the Montessori pedagogy.

Andílek is focused on the education of and care for children, the Institute on education of teachers and professional public and the Association concentrates on parents and all supporters of the pedagogy.

We share common values – truthfulness, courage, respect and joy, we combine love with knowledge, we build responsibility for the world around us and respect for each other.

All three organizations are founded on the standards of the AMI – Association Montessori Internationale, which was founded by Maria Montessori in 1929 and is a recognized international umbrella organization for Montessori education.

Thanks to this close connection with the Montessori Institute, we have the opportunity of regular mentoring by trainers from abroad who come to visit the individual sections of our school.

We cooperate with Heidi Philippart for the age group of 0-3 (the nido and infant community), with Elina Rautasalo for the pre-school (the primary), and with Carla Foster and Kyla Morenz for the elementary school and the adolescent program.

Andílek is an AMI training school. We are open to the observations and teaching practice of students of our AMI trainings, but also of trainings of other institutions, by mutual agreement and depending on our capacity.
